The day began with a landing at Punta Suarez on Española (Hood) Island. We walked fairly difficult trails with large rocks on path for about 1 3/4 miles along trails seeing Sea Lion, Marine Iguana, Espanola Lava Lizard, Blue-footed Booby (courting dances), Nazca Booby (adult and chicks), Hood Mockingbird, Yellow-crowned Night Heron, American Oystercatcher, Yellow Warbler, Small Ground Finch, Galapagos Hawk, Galapagos Dove, Swallow-tailed Gull and Waved Albatross as well as Sally Lightfoot Crab. There was a cliff the Albatross used as a launching arean and a good-sized blowhole which blew mist high in the air.
