We took an 8 day cruise in the inside passages of Southeast Alaska on the M.V. Sea Lion, a 70 passenger ship operated by Linblad Expeditions. One of the advantages of these expeditions is the number of naturalists on board. This was a great experience for us, and these pictures only give a hint of the beauty and majesty; in particular the outstanding fresh seafood dinners we had every night are not shown!
Pictures were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 950 (1600x1200 pixels original image size) and a Nikon N6006 on Photoworks speed 200 film, almost all with a Tamron AF 90-300 lens; scanned to CD by the processor.
I have selected 96 pictures from the trip; to make the download time bearable, there are 4 pages (arranged by date). In addition, the images shown on the pages are 'thumbnails' which are clickable and will open a new window with a larger image. If this does not work, click on the gray square underneath the image to open a new browser window with the larger image.

Hiking and kayaking in the afternoon, saw one black bear (and plenty of bear scat).
