June 11 and 12

June 11 (Tuesday)

During the night, we proceeded to LeConte bay. Spouting humpback whale, numerous birds. Zodiac ride in bay towards glacier and with good views of icebergs.

From LeConte Bay, we then went to Petersburg where we went ashore for a while, and then hiked through the woods and wildflowers.

June 12 (Wednesday)

Moving during the night, we arrived in Frederick Sound before 6AM to the sight of numerous humpback whales as well as numerous birds including bald eagles, Pigeon Guillemot, Pelagic Cormorant, Common Murre, and Pacific Loon.
